Mindful Research is a user experience consultancy run by Judith Fellowes.
I am a skilled and knowledgeable researcher specialising in user experience, ethnography and accessibility. I started out as a software developer which gives me an insider advantage when working with technical teams. My interest in the human challenges of technology led me to specialise in this area and I undertook a Masters in Usability at Lancaster University in 2002 gaining a distinction for my thesis on scenario based design.
Since 2002 I have worked for a range of organisations including the BBC, AbilityNet, HSBC, Sky and Vodafone. I have worked across a variety of devices and environments including Web, PC, IPTV, ATM, Kiosk and mobile. I promote inclusion and diversity in all my work.
My passion is for learning new things. This year I am exploring Action Learning and how that can be incorporated into a user experience framework.
